About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned, client-facing project director who can take ownership of the smooth delivery of projects. Main responsibilities include:

Project / Program Management

  • Responsibility for project plan, timeline, team resourcing, budget, financial health, internal & external reporting, tracking, on-time delivery

  • Client contract negotiations and management

  • Identifying and management of specialist partners / sub-consultants, including legal and commercial management thereof

  • Client management and relationship-building

  • Writing content proposal for new engagements, including bid management and RFP ownership

Business Operations & Team Leadership

  • Develop strategies that will help drive continual improvement of project management and delivery systems, people and processes

  • Lead and grow a team of project managers (current team size is 5)

  • Support the development of new/repeat business opportunities

  • Support the streamlining and improving internal business operations

Required Skills, Experience & Ambition

  • 8-10 years’ experience managing and leading projects in a design studio and/or strategy consultancy

  • A passion for working on projects that make a positive impact on society and the environment

  • Demonstrable success in delivering high-profile, complex, multi-channel, multi-stakeholder, international projects

  • Ability to engage at the highest levels of an organization, including royalty and government leaders

  • Excellent knowledge of project management principles, methods, tools and techniques

  • Ingrained commitment to excellence, and a positive can-do attitude

  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills, developing and maintaining open, honest and trusting relationships
