At least one-fourth of the world’s population cannot access clean water. To draw attention to this problem and to design solutions, ATÖLYE and IDEA Universal invite creative industry professionals and students to a designathon set to take place at ATÖLYE on January 11 and 12, 2020.
Home to the Global Service Jam and Global Goals Jam, ATÖLYE collaborated with IDEA Universal to organize the two-day designathon. IDEA Universal is a nonprofit organization bringing clean water, sustainable food, renewable energy, and alternative education to vulnerable communities.
During the two-day designathon, participants will produce digital or physical design outputs where the design thinking methodology will be applied to the problems at hand. 25 participants, to be selected among the applications, will work in groups under the themes of resource development, campaigning, volunteering experience, and creative storytelling. The projects developed will be presented to a jury and to IDEA Universal volunteers.
Follow this link to apply by December 22nd to take part in this first-ever designathon by ATÖLYE. The applications need to be filled out in Turkish as the event will take place in Turkish.
