“Evdeki Yaratıcılar” – Creators at Home, brings together new discoveries with former guests, focusing on the creative processes, inspiration and personal stories of artists and designers in the period of pandemic and social isolation.

 

The seventh guest of the series is Nurbanu Asena. Born and raised in Ankara, Nurbanu received a BFA degree from Design & Technology at Parsons School of Design, New York and an MA degree from Goldsmith’s University of London, as a Chevening scholar. She likes to work on witty and colourful projects that are in touch with psychology, society, children and empowerment.

 

Nunulanka Studio is also run by Nurbanu – who fuses a background in animation, illustration and documentary filmmaking. The studio expertise in delivering social media videos, infographics, tv commercials, commissioned indie films and provide direction, art direction, storyboarding, animation, film and editing services to clients efficiently. Recently, Nurbanu finished her latest short animated documentary titled MEETING (2020), funded by Republic of Turkey Ministry of Culture and Tourism Grant. Currently she works between London and Cambridge, UK.
