Your muse comes from the deepest parts of your imagination and guides you to new ideas. It invites you to bring your dreams to life using the raw materials found in your daily life. Beloved Artist Frida Kahlo once famously said, “I am my own muse. I am the subject I know the best. The subject I want to know better.” This month’s CreativeMornings theme is Muse and we are hosting Begüm Başoğlu Öner, Vitali Hakko Creative Industries Library’s curator. In 2015, Öner co-wrote “Sade” (Turkish word for “simple”) with Ege Erim, which stayed number one on the bestsellers list for a long time, and co-created sadeyasamak.com to inspire those who aim to live simply. We will search for our muse with Begüm Başoğlu Öner on the 20th of September.
