Sr. Lead, Creative Hub Istanbul
Hi, I’m Emre. I’m the Creative Hubs Lead at ATÖLYE. I’m a creative professional with a wide knowledge of communications, event curation, public programming, community building, audience development, and I am passionate about everything related to creative industries.
Emre is a culture manager, facilitator and writer. As a creative professional with extensive communication, programming, community building and project management experience, he works as the Creative Hub Lead at ATÖLYE. Responsible for ATÖLYE’s space, community and programming in Istanbul, and focusing on the creative economy, he designs and executes projects in areas such as strategic design, community design and programming.
Emre is also the founder of kültür.limited, an independent platform for professionals in the cultural sector. He gives lectures in different fields at Istanbul Bilgi University and Yeditepe University as an instructor. He continues his community building efforts on a global scale by hosting CreativeMornings Istanbul and Global Goals Jam Istanbul and curating Design Calendar Istanbul.
Emre’s articles on cultural management and cultural policies have been published in media such as Istanbul Art News, Cumhuriyet, Calling, T24, Vogue, Zero and GQ. His academic articles have been included in the Cultural Policy and Management Yearbook (KPY Annual), New Media Studies, and The European Network on Cultural Management and Policy Yearbook. Emre is also a member of AICA Turkey as an independent art writer since 2017.
